Redesign academy experience

Problem

Very cluttered and out-of-date design. People that are target group are coming to learn new skills such as programming, design, 3D or digital marketing, and they are landing on outdated and cluttered design which immediately gives them a reason to doubt the information and the quality of the academies.

Approach

To see what works and what doesn’t, first, I need to put myself in user perspective coming to the webpage. Being aware that there are different types of users I created 3 personas representing the target groups

  • User 1

General info / Purpose of visit

Male/Female in their 20s already in IT industry wanting to scale up and learn new things.

    Looking for the best value

    Tech Savvy

    Pain points

Not techy enough, Very web 1.0, doesn’t follow the visual style he is used to it.

  • User 2

General info / Purpose of visit

Users in their 40s never had anything with IT industry wanting to switch careers

    Can he actually do it?

    Price

    Pain points

Not enough testimonials or career path explanation to convince him.

  • User 3

General info / Purpose of visit

Mother wanting to enroll her child in some of the academies.

    Who are the teachers?

    Price and payment options.

    Pain points

Price, Team that will teach her child is not presented well with their bio.
